My Freelancer is a platform for everyone whether you are a client or freelancer, for freelancers it is important to have a good image of their working profile and for them to meet the client expectations, it is required to make your services easy to understand from the start. Keeping your clients informed throughout the process, till the project is finally delivered, can help you build yourself a strong reputation among clients. We are here with some tips to guide and help you:

Describe Your Billboard

Try to add a direct and simple title and a detailed description to highlight what service you offer. If there are some features you do not provide or charge extra for that service, mention those too to avoid misunderstandings. Clearly mention what clients can expect, including the number of revisions you offer. This helps set the right expectations from the beginning.

Specific Details

Try to communicate clearly with clients before and during the order to confirm the exact type of delivery they are expecting (such as design files, wireframes, prototypes, etc.). For example:

  • If you are offering logo design, clarify whether clients will receive a complete branding package with mockups or just a single vector file.

  • For 3D design services, specify whether clients will get a fully rendered model or just the final image.

Additionally, mention the software or tools you use to confirm that your capabilities match what the client is looking for. Customize your communication according to the specific service you are providing.

Get All Necessary Information

Make sure to request all the details you need to successfully complete the project. To improve this process, consider using a pre-made template that includes all the fields for necessary information. This helps you understand your clients’ needs thoroughly, increasing the possibility of delivering exactly what they want from you. If there is anything not clear, ask questions to get a better understanding.

Keep your clients updated

Try to keep your clients updated by providing work-related updates during the project, such as sharing sketches, drafts, or progress reports. This gives clients an idea of the final product and allows them to request changes before the project is finally done, it can also save you a lot of time. Ask for their feedback, as this can lead to a result that meets their expectations.

Mention Your Revision Policy

Make sure to communicate the number of revisions included with your service right before you start your project. Being clear about your limits helps avoid any misunderstandings. Too many revisions or too much communication can lead to frustration, so it is best to set these boundaries at the beginning of the order.

Sometimes you don’t realize the problem until you start working if this happens with you after taking an order from client you realize there are some problems you are unable to handle or you need more time to complete, please don’t wait till its late contact your client without wasting anymore time and communicate with them very openly to help solve the problems.

By following our helpful tips, you can create a positive experience for your clients and increase the chances of repeated clients.
