How to sign up for My Freelancer Account

The first thing that you should know is that in line with My Freelancer’s Terms of Service, one must be an adult with an account creation age limit of 18 years.

Types of Accounts

All the new users who sign up are by default Clients. Here’s the difference:

Client Account: Allow you to buy services on our platform.

Freelancer Account: Enables you to advertise the services you offer as a freelancer (through Billboards). To be a Freelancer one must convert into a Freelancer after signing up as a Client, and this cannot be done on the mobile app, use of desktop is a must.

Client Account

  1. Visit My Freelancer’s homepage and click sign up.
  2. Type in your email and password and click on continue, you can also join us by signing up through Facebook, Google or Apple.
  3. Set a username which cannot be changed. But you can change your display name if you wish to.
  4. Please type in the code the system sent to your email to verify your email address.
  5. Client Account is now set. You can then go on and become a Freelancer.

Become a Freelancer

  1. Go to the homepage and sign in to your account, click on your profile icon, and choose to become a Freelancer.
  2. Click on Become a Freelancer one more time.
  3. The next step will be your identity verification. Please follow the guided steps for that.
  4. Do not overplay your experience and skills when creating your profile for a better one.
  5. Verify Your Phone: Please make sure that you complete the phone verification when activating the account.
  6. Create Your First Billboard: This will help you to start selling your services.
