Changing Your Email Address

For Phone Verified Accounts:

1. Log in to My Freelancer.

2. Go to Profile Picture > Settings > Account.

3. Enter your new email under email and click Save.

4. Confirm the email change via the link sent to your new email.

5. Enter the SMS code received to complete verification.

For Non-Phone Verified Accounts: Follow the same steps as above, but you'll receive a confirmation link in your old email. Confirm the change through both old and new email addresses.

Changing Your Email via SMS (if applicable):

1. Log in, go to Profile Picture > Settings > Account.

2. Enter your new email and save.

3. Confirm through SMS code sent to your registered phone.

If You Can't Access Your Old Email: Add phone verification to your account through Settings > Security and follow the SMS verification process.

No Access to Email or Phone: Contact our Customer Support.

How to Change Your Username

Your username is permanent. To use a new one, you must deactivate your current account and create a new one.

Changing Your Display Name:

1. Log in, switch to selling mode.

2. Go to Profile Picture > Profile> click the pencil icon next to your display name.

3. Edit and save changes.

To Deactivate Your Account:

1. Go to Profile Picture > My Settings > Account Deactivation.

2. Select a reason and confirm.
