Freelancers and clients can communicate directly through Zoom video calls to have a better understanding of their projects so they can deliver quality work as required by their clients.
Note that, at present, only freelancers can start communicating through Zoom calls.
Using Zoom Video Calls
Please try to ask for the availability of your clients through chat before making zoom calls, its can help you from wasting time and disturbance
How to start a Zoom video call:
1. Go to your inbox from the order page.
2. Select the client with whom you want to have a video call.
3. Click the video camera icon at the bottom of the chat box.
4. A Zoom call invitation link will appear in your messages. Click "Join" to start the call.
Video Call Policies
Video calls on My Freelancer are to improve the order experience and to make sure freelancers meet client expectations. All participants are expected to maintain professionalism and follow to My Freelancer's Community Standards.
By starting My Freelancer video call, you agree to avoid:
Inappropriate language
Offensive remarks based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion, or national origin.
Hate speech or harassment.
Adult content, nudity, or any form of sexual conduct.
Threats or acts of violence.
Offering or requesting Prohibited Services on My Freelancer
Attempts to conduct business outside of the My Freelancer platform.
Important: Both freelancers and clients can report any issues or mis conduct during a video call.
Zoom Meeting Safety
Do not share sensitive personal information which includes passwords, credit card numbers, social security numbers, or any confidential data.
Avoid opening any unfamiliar links or attachments, always use antivirus protection for added security.
Do not use remote access tools, Tools like TeamViewer or Any Desk allow others to control your computer. If using them is unavoidable, limit permissions to protect your device.
Do not participate in conversations that make you uncomfortable, you have the option to report any issues to Customer Support.
