Revisions allow clients to request changes to a freelancer’s delivery if they seem the work provided is not up to their expectations, providing an opportunity for the freelancer to take in the client’s feedback and make changes to the delivered work. Revisions are optional and can be offered at the freelancer’s preference.
- If revisions are included in a freelancer’s Billboard, they should be prepared to accommodate the client’s requests as agreed.
- When a client requests a revision, the order status changes to revision.
- This status indicates that the client is requesting updates, and the freelancer is required to adjust the delivery to meet the client's expectations.
- A revision status doesn’t mean the client is rejecting your delivery, it simply shows the client's revision request.
Tips for Effective Revisions for Clients
- Clearly explain the changes you need.
- If the order is marked as Delivered, your revision request may not have been submitted properly.
- Submit your revision request within the time allotted in agreement. After this period, the order will automatically be marked as Completed
For Freelancers:
- Clearly explain the number of revisions included with your Billboard.
- Fulfil client’s revision requests professionally and respectfully.
- Clearly communicate the exact number of revisions your Billboard offers to avoid misunderstandings.
- If you offer unlimited revisions, it’s your responsibility to keep revising the work until the client is satisfied with the work.
