Freelancers and clients can communicate directly using Zoom or Microsoft Teams video calls to have a clear understanding of project requirements and deliver quality work.

Please Note that My Freelancer does not provide a Zoom account. Users must use their own Zoom or Microsoft Teams accounts for video calls.

  • We recommend discussing availability with your client via chat before scheduling a video call. This helps avoid unnecessary delays or disturbances.
  • Choose Zoom or Microsoft Teams based on your preference.
  • Exchange your meeting details through the chat feature.
  • Set up and start the call using your own Zoom or Microsoft Teams account.

Video calls are intended to improve communication, to improve order experience, and help freelancers meet client expectations. All participants must maintain professionalism while communicating through video calls. while using video calls, you must avoid:

  • Inappropriate language.
  • Offensive remarks based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion, or nationality.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or threats.
  • Adult content, nudity, or any form of sexual conduct.
  • Offering or requesting services that violate our platform policies.
  • Conducting business outside of our platform

Video Call Safety Guidelines

  • Do not share sensitive personal information, such as passwords, credit card numbers, or confidential data.
  • Be cautious with unfamiliar links or attachments; use antivirus protection for added security.
  • Avoid using remote access tools like TeamViewer or Any Desk unless necessary. If used, limit permissions to protect your device.
  • Do not participate in conversations that make you uncomfortable.
