Cancellations

Last edited on April 12, 2025

To solve any issue between two parties, it is very important to have respectfully clear communication throughout the cancellation process. On our platform we also give an opportunity of reducing a contract, which is always the best option to avoid cancellation and helps you maintain your score boards. Cancellations should only be considered as the last option when there is no other option left. They can have negative effects on their score, and time.

Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • Clients can request cancellation if an order is overdue
  • If freelancers have already worked on the order, they may lose payment.

Freelancer-Initiated Cancellations

  • While it’s important to meet client expectations, there are times when cancellation may be the best solution.
  • If a freelancer initiates a cancellation, it will automatically proceed if the client doesn’t reply.

Forced Cancellations
There are some situations where orders can be canceled without additional approval:

  • Clients can immediately cancel if they haven’t provided the necessary details for the order.
  • Clients can cancel if the freelancer is past the agreed delivery time without prior agreement.

Order Completion Score:
The Order Completion Score measures the successful delivery and approval of services. While cancellations impact this score, it is part of a broader evaluation system that takes multiple performance factors into account. Our platform reserves the right to adjust the criteria and methodology used in calculating this score as needed to maintain fairness, accuracy, and alignment with our evolving policies.

Tips to avoid Cancellations

  • Set clear expectations
  • Maintain open communication
  • Use tools to improve order
  • Set manageable deadlines

These points will help minimize the cancellation, which affects your profile negatively.
