Requesting a Delivery Time Extension

Delivery time limits are a very important side of any Billboard agreement between clients and freelancers. While freelancers are generally expected to meet the deadlines they have agreed to, sometimes issues which cannot be avoided arise causing changes in the project delivery date. If a freelancer needs additional time to complete their work, they can request for extension from the client as soon as they realize there can be a delay in delivery. This option provides freelancers with greater flexibility to fulfill their commitments more effectively. 

Delivery Extension

  • Go to the order activity page and select the "Extend Delivery Date" 

  • Choose the new delivery date you suggest and include a brief explanation for the client to understand the reason for the extension. Then, click "Send Request." 

  • The client will be notified and will have up to 48 hours to respond to your request. 

  • Freelancers will receive a notification once the client either approves or denies the request.
