Requesting a Delivery Time Extension

Last edited on December 30, 2024

Delivery time limits are very important side of any Billboard agreement between buyers and sellers. While sellers are generally expected to meet the deadlines they had agreed to, sometimes issues which cannot be avoided, arise causing changes in project delivery date. If a seller needs additional time to complete their work, they can request for extension from the buyer as soon as they realize there can be a delay in delivery. This option provides sellers with greater flexibility to fulfill their commitments more effectively.

Process of Delivery Extension

Guideline for Sellers:

  • Go to the order activity page and select the "Extend Delivery Date" option located on the right side, beneath the “Deliver Now” button.

  • Choose the new delivery date you suggest and include a brief explanation for the buyer to understand the reason for the extension. Then, click "Send Request."

  • The buyer will be notified and will have up to 48 hours to respond to your request.

  • Sellers will receive a notification once the buyer either approves or denies the request.

Buyer Didn’t Respond

If the buyer does not respond to the request for delivery extension within the 48 hours, the delivery date will automatically be adjusted to the new date requested by the seller.
